What Makes It Special?
Join our exclusive training course dedicated entirely to women in paragliding
This week, the focus is also on technical safety training tailored to your individual flying skills. But in our approach, we want to be guided a little more by our female intuition.
Train with our all-female team in a supportive and motivating environment. Work on your skills without pressure to perform and gain more confidence in a relaxed atmosphere.
In addition, we want to leave a little more room for the mental level this week and come out with a stronger mindset through an exciting exchange of experiences. Tips and tricks from some long-standing and successful female pilots should inspire you.
- Multilingual course (German, English and Spanish).
- Train over water for maximum safety.
- Master collapses, stalls, and advanced maneuvers.

Training Philosophy
‘If you want to build high towers, you must spend a long time on the foundations.’
The basics must be understood and mastered before moving on to the next step. Only then can you challenge yourself or leave your comfort zone without overtaxing yourself.
Our goal is for you to train safely and enjoyably, understand the basics of the pendulum effect between the canopy and the pilot, learn to use the full way of your break lines effectively, and feel safe with any collapse situation and rapid descent.
This can be followed by stalls in all variations, high wingovers or various fun freestyle manoeuvres – there is always something new to learn.

Training content
The content of your training is based on your flying experience and skills and is tailored directly to you. If you have only recently completed your training or unfortunately fly less than you would like to, the focus will be on stabilising pendulum movements, collapses in all variations and descent techniques from big ears to spiral dives. If you feel confident with these, fly a lot and enjoy cross-country flying, we will add accelerated collapses, autorotations, spin recovery and stalls. And last but not least, there are no limits to the fun you can have with wingovers, SATs, asymmetric spirals, loops and helicopters.
Theory
In the preparatory theory section, the aerodynamic background to the various flight conditions is explained and the movement sequences are mentally reviewed and practised. In addition, daily video analyses of your flights are a very important part of our safety training. This allows us to identify movement patterns and try to internalise and automate pilot reactions appropriate to the situation.
Rescue boat
Our safety training uses a rescue boat with a lowerable bow flap. This makes it particularly easy to get into the boat. With our 70 hp outboard motor, we can be with you within seconds in an emergency.
Training schedule
Sunday, day 1: Course starts at 8 a.m. in our common tent at the Sandaya La Nublière campsite, training preparation day.
Welcome and introductions, distribution of rental equipment (radio, life jacket, etc.), theory sessions (training flights over water, flight manoeuvres, extreme flight situations, rescue parachute), introduction to the flying site, individual check of harness adjustment and rescue parachute release (compatibility check).
Monday to Thursday, days 2 to 5: Training days
Training flights over water. After a short lunch break, video analysis in small groups. Reflection on your own flights, analysis of your training focus and creation of your further training plan. Further theory, manoeuvre briefings and mental training.
At the end of a training day, there is the opportunity to explore the flying area on a free flight and enjoy the thermal conditions, which often last into the early evening. Tandem flights are also possible for non-flying companions or for your own further training.
Friday, day 6: Final day
Training flights over water without video analysis, final briefing and billing, course ends in the afternoon around 4 p.m., optional free flying afterwards.
Flexibility:
Of course, the course schedule will be adapted to the weather conditions of the week as much as possible, which may lead to changes.
If the wind is too strong for flying, we will be happy to train with a ground handling session on the spacious landing site in Doussard. This will not only improve your glider handling skills, but also your reactions, and it’s great fun in a group! We will tailor the course to your previous experience, showing you how to launch reverse, rise the glider from coliflower position or from one side, different techniques to put down the glider and how to handle the glider in strong winds in general.
In weather conditions where the backpack remains closed, an exciting lecture by our team or other theoretical topics will certainly enhance the day. There is always something new to learn!
Communication:
The majority of our team and flight instructors are multilingual, and we are pleased to offer our training courses in various languages (German, English and Spanish). In this case, the group will be divided for technical briefings and explanations; otherwise, the course week will benefit from a multicultural atmosphere. Please refer to the dates for details.
We use a WhatsApp group to communicate times and meeting points during the training week and you will receive an invitation to join this group.
